Late October rides always feel colder than December rides...the memories of summer are still fairly fresh. So there is some denial at play on a morning ride like Sunday morning, when its 41 degrees at ride time. Giro Dave even broke out the superbike and matching 'bumblebee' attire in a fruitless effort to woo summer back. Add some fog, and cycling teams to dodge, and you've got yourself a classic "south lake" ride with Ti and Giro.

okay, that stings. . . yes it is true, I did lobby hard for Mr. Ti to use the word "popsicle" on his blog. Man, I sorry, but it was COLD!
