The cinco de mayo event at Alpental is becoming a SA tradition. Warmer weather, costumes, tailgaters in the parking lot, mariachi bands; it has it all. Uncle Ted and I went to ski for brunch and it was 55 degrees at the base at 10am. Sunny all day. Great viz. Corn snow. And busy...I hear they had to close Alpental road by early afternoon since there was no more parking. Put it on the calendar for 09...it's worth it.
