[Begin weekend catch-up: Saturday]
Saturday was my first time out in the boat this year. If spring wants to threaten us here in Seattle, it seems foolish to fight it. I grabbed my canoe, put Bionica in a kayak, and headed for the some slough paddling. At one point, a beaver popped up and paced ahead of the bow of her kayak before doing a tail slap and diving. First time I'd seen one here. Of course, good weather and snacks were enjoyed by all.
Such a peaceful sport; thanks for the reminder, spring.

Intense Pear is a choco flavor I've never experienced. I want some.
That's the spirit - food and boats go together in the most natural way. Kind of like beer and skiing.
Could the paddling season be off to a start?
