The assignment: Loopty loop around Burrows and Allan Islands, and Williamson Rocks (near Anacortes).
Length paddled - 10.03 miles
Food consumed - Lots
Sunburned limbs - Two
Notes from the field - Another 80 degree day is captured and domesticated. This was an enjoyable trip on all levels. Salmon, strawberries and fortune cookies were purchased and devoured. Riesens were reasoned. Seals and porpoises were spotted. I learned some fun things about currents.
Last, when people see big canoes with lots of people in them, they want to know how many days you have been on the water. We must look like fur traders.
