Superbike: the bike for special occasions. Rarely ridden in rain, the superbike is made of exotic materials, is always under 19.5 lbs (usually well under) and makes its rider appear skinnier than they are. Superbikes always climb quicker, and ride faster than anyone's bike; this should be explained with emphasis when talking to other riders. It is almost always a second bike or beyond and should have a story behind its existence or creation. Its cost should be, at minimum, painful, and should rarely be seen ridden by others. If one is unsure if their bike is a superbike, it is not a superbike.
