Ski-nco de Mayo

Yay, yay, it's the fifth of May!
It's lift-assisted spring ski day!

Those crazy folks at Alpental decided that May seemed like a good time to ski, so they opened up the lifts for the weekend. Ay Caramba! Senor Dave and I decided to give it a go, and headed up Saturday. Mostly sunny and warm at 45 F or so. Layers were shed, turns were made. Muscles burned. We did the upper and lower international run after lunch, and the legs never really did recover after that. I saw a guy dressed up like the Green Giant (yo ho ho); his friend (Batman) hucked a big jump off a kicker then disappeared out of site. Like Batman would.
