skate or die

With such great weather last night, I decided to take a little pre-dinner inline skate. Since Alki is so close, I braved the scene to get some miles. Great views to be had as always. I have been pretty lucky to date, never really having issues with the wind down there. But that all changed last night as the head wind going east was pretty brutal. It kicked my rear.

I saw a few other fruit-booters out there, but I think inline skates have become less cool over the years. All the 'kids' with the correct wrap around glasses were on their long boards. It is sad to be 32 and say 'kids', yes?
