To make sure that all of my limbs were sore by the end of the weekend, I joined Ted, Lisa, Mikaela, Terese and Lily on a day paddle over the nisqually flats. We saw seals, a sea lion, eagles, crabs, starfish and another golden retriever named Daisy.
Not long after we arrived, the wind picked up and made for a chilly lunch. We all put on every layer we brought. The lighthaven was highly prized. Thanks to the tasty spread from Ted and Lisa, a good time was had by all. Winds calmed as we left.
When I grow up, I hope to be half the paddler that Lisa is. Perhaps Ted can comment on the specific names of where we put in and lunched?
The PFD is now broken in, and has succeeded in giving Ted PFD-envy. Still nothing compared to my sea clipper envy, however.

Check out Ted's manpris...
Sorry...
Put in at Luhr's Landing and paddled across to the scuttled barge on the "Spit". A great lounging paddle on a hot day. A bit of a slog when you have weather coming in from the SW. In all cases, access to and from is definately controled by the tide.
